Vancouvers Brendan Morrison fällt voraussichtlich bis Saisonende aus. Im Spiel gegen die Avalanche riss im zweiten Drittel das vordere Kreuzband in seinem rechten Knie, so dass er das Spiel sofort abbrechen musste.

Der 32-jährige Center wirkte in dieser Saison bei 39 Partien seiner Canucks mit. Er schoss dabei neun Tore und war an 26 weiteren mit beteiligt.
