looking for hockey near Bonn (Achtung! english)

Hi folks! I am living in Bonn until September of 2006 and I'm looking to play eishockey. Are there any leagues close to Bonn that I can join?

I went to a rink in Koeln last week and was informed that the leagues have already begun. Can I join up? My equipment is being mailed from Canada and hopefully it will arrive in one to two weeks.

Is there a league in Troisdorf that I can join? Do you know who to contact?

My background: I'm 31 years old, and I've played hockey for more than 10 years of my life. I'm Canadian, I've been skating for pretty much my whole life (except the first 7 years, when I lived in Australia).

I may look into those leagues later this winter, but I'll be outside of Germany for a month starting next week, so I won't have a chance to play hockey until I get back. Troisdorf is nice and close, too.

Uh, but I do have another question. On Tuesday I apparently have a game in Cologne, my schedule says it's at "KAII". Do you know which rink that is? We're playing against Urbacher Haie, is that your team? The game is at 21:30.

Look for Gummersbacher Str. in Cologne.

Yes, see you tuesday. I'm hoping my team actually shows up -- we've had some pretty spectacular losses recently and team morale is pretty low. Only 8 people from my team came to our last practice.

I'm usually the 3rd line centre, but who knows what'll happen next game? We may only have one line!

I just looked at the standings. Maybe our game might be good, it looks like both of our teams suck!

we had a clear win - the first time. Unfortunatly your team had only 12? players - the same problem as our team. Mostly not enough players. But this evening we were nearly complete.

With my other team (Los Agressivos) I had my first game as goalie. Big job - i was a little bit nervos.

We lost 1-4.

I tried to come but I had to catch a plane out of Frankfurt at 6am + do all my packing. I was worried that I wouldn't make it back to Bonn in time to pack.

Hi, sorry for not replying earlier -- I've been on a long trip to Canada, USA and Japan. So I wouldn't of had a chance to bring back any goalie gear, anyway. I'll go to my team's next practice and game -- I hope they'll take me back after this long leave.

Do you know where Bill is from? I know a big Cole family in Edmonton (14 children, I believe). But there's many more Coles than that in Canada.

I'm here in Germany at least until the end of August. Do you know of any pick-up hockey games in the area?

I don't know how many children they are at home, Bill is nearly 2 mtr. tall - a good defender.

Perhaps you should join us (Los Agressivos)as 2nd team, because we have ice all over the jear and with this team we only play frienly-games - no league.

When and where is your next (non-league) game? I'd be happy to join. Right now my only transportation is my motorcycle so when the weather is particularly bad I have trouble riding long-distances to games.
